What is the difference between a postpartum doula and a nanny?
A postpartum doula supports recovery, rest, newborn care, and family adjustment. A nanny provides consistent ongoing childcare. The right transition depends on your needs, not a fixed age. A nanny with appropriate infant experience may start during infancy.
Do I need to know which service I want?
No. Choose “I’m not sure” in the inquiry. We can talk through birth support, daytime or overnight postpartum care, and longer-term childcare together.
Can I use Carrot, Maven, or employer benefits?
Possibly. Eligibility depends on your plan, the specific professional, and the service. Confirm coverage, documentation, provider requirements, and reimbursement rules with your administrator before booking. We do not guarantee coverage or reimbursement.
